Founded in 1855, Penn State University serves as the state university of Pennsylvania with around 87,000 students attending across University Park and the 24 Commonwealth Campuses. Penn State's main campus, University Park, is located in State College, PA, near the geographic center of the state. The school colors are Blue and White, and the school mascot is the Nittany Lion.
